But before getting here I still spent few days In Briancon France, which is the highest city in European Union at an altitude of 1326 meters. I didnt have time to look too much around, which is a shame since this city definetely would deserve a closer look. Briancon is also a ski-resort, and its known of having 300 days sun on the year!

Parking spot for campers, down the city. Not so nice spot, but good place to stay few days if you are coming or going to Italy, since its on the border.
The road next to the camper stop is following this river, doggy was refreshing herself there :)

I loved how the light was getting inside to these tunnels!
Tickets to Patras costed one way 235 e, including camper (6-8 m) on camping on board and one person. Doggy travels free of charge! If you buy a roundtrip I think you get an extra 20% discount...

The red arrow on the picture shows where the campers are loaded. I was lucky to get my camper in one of those "window" places, since only one row of the campers gets the place beside the window. Campers are loaded in Superfastferries in an open deck, which is pleasant in a sunny day. Click here to see my previous update travelling with Superfastferries. Both ferries offers camping on board option between April-October and it is a very nice way of travelling since you can stay in your camper and you get connected to electricity. Perfect when you travel with pets!
