Peniche- surfing town

Peniche in Portugal, but it reminds in this photo like Agios Nikolaos in Crete

Peniche is a quite nice town to have a stop and its known as a spot for surfers! It has long beaches and also a big port with traditional fishing.

There is a free camper spot without facilities beside the "Bombeiros", fire brigade, but the day we arrived was very rainy so decided to go to another parking spot in town. GPS coordinates for this free parking N 39°21'29" W 09°22'37".

There were several campers parked at Bombeiros..

We stayed here in "ASA Motorhome Park" N 39°21'58" W 09°22'45". Costed five euro a day without electricity. Very clean, but really not a tempting spot for my eyes..Inside the walls was also a little tennis court and the echo it gave to the parking was not pleasant. Well, for me few nights was really enough in here, but some stayed a month or more!

There is a beautiful fortress to visit and museum inside.

Doggy got her first walk in the Atlantic sea!

Drying fishes.

Loved this old bus camper :)

Surfboards are used in many places as deco, looks fun!
