The Peloponnese and Monemvasia "Gibraltar"

 Nice spot and view from my bed...somewhere in Peloponnese...

Monemvasia, the town of fortress is known also as its nickname Gibraltar and that was also first thing what I was thinking about when I saw this rock. Old Monemvasia was found in 583 and developped later on and new Monemvasia which is opposite side is a modern village. These two places are connected by bridge and road. Old Monemvasia is picturesque old town with its taverns, little cafes and shops. Worth to make a stop!

    I really love these colors and yes, beaches! I wonder would Ella like that kind of ride. No, I guess not, but Vilja would! :-) What amazing places we have on this planet. <3
